Twin Cities songwriter and guitarist John Kerns returns to Urban Growler Brewing Company! Joined by Shelly Domke + Kenna Rose

“John Kerns is a musician and songwriter out of the Twin Cities whose musical background is as varied as it gets. From putting out children’s albums, to working a steady job as a rock-oriented music director at a church, to being part of a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band, after two decades he now is refocusing his career on gigging and playing out as much as possible.”

Shelly Domke is a professional singer in St Paul, MN. Dabbling in rock, jazz and folk, she is currently involved with Steeling Dan - A Tribute to Steely Dan; Closer to Indigo - A Tribute to the Indigo Girls; Kerns and the Hemispheres (original rock)

Kenna Rose began performing in her hometown of Minneapolis in the early 2010’s. After a five year break from Minnesota and music, she moved back and settled on the North Shore of Lake Superior and plunged into live performing, playing solo and with several groups at local venues, on local radio, and for local events and festivals. Greatly influenced by jazz, folk, rock, and blues, she performs an eclectic set with a relaxing, jazzy spin on covers, with a few originals sprinkled in for good measure. She’s hoping to shine a light and strum a few chords.
